Linda Merl

Linda Merl of Moriarty, New Mexico, for going above and beyond with her devotion to children. As a foster parent, adoptive mother, daycare provider, and mother, Merl has provided a safe, nurturing, and stable home for more than 400 children in New Mexico’s child welfare system over the last 20 years. Merl’s daycare center, which is one of only two in the small rural community, has been a constant safe haven for local children. Merl has consistently made herself available, day or night, to provide structure, routine, and hope to young lives facing an otherwise uncertain future.
