Adrian McCormick

Adrian McCormick of Cordele, Georgia, for going above and beyond with his daring rescue of three people from a burning building. Upon seeing smoke coming out a apartment complex on his street, a barefoot McCormick grabbed a fire extinguisher and ran into the burning building where he quickly extinguished a small fire on a stove before knocking on doors in the smoked-filled building to alert residents. After McCormick left the building, he heard a man and two children screaming for help from a nearby window. Without hesitation, McCormick instructed them to jump out the window one by one into his open arms. McCormick caught all three people, saving their lives that day.
