Ellen Blair

Ellen Blair of Golden, Colorado, for going above and beyond in providing hope for disadvantaged children in the Denver Metro Area. Blair founded “Kids’ Pages Cares” 14 years ago, and since then she has never earned a dollar or been on a set schedule. When “Kids’ Pages Cares” receives a story about children who have lost parents, lack adequate food or clothing, or need medical care, Blair takes it upon herself to improve the situation. Through “Kids’ Pages Cares,” Blair has raised $1 million to assist disadvantaged and neglected children and families in Colorado.
